There was this Greek at work who kept skee-weeing me. I told him to stop nicely several times and he didn't. Finally I said if you don't stop that I'm going to kick your a**. He said "oh I didn't know you didn't like that, my mother was an AKA". I said "well she should have taught you better". Since then he has made a point of calling me by my name.
A non-Greek saw me and a Soror talking and said "Oh the pretty AKAs and other stuff about AKAs about 10 times. When we appeared annoyed he said "My Auntie is 76 years old, she was a Founder so I can mess with ya'll!!!" I asked him her name, and politely informed him that she was not only not a Founder, but that our beloved Sorority will be celebrating 100 years. He mumbled "well if she ain't a Founder she BIG IN AKA!!!".
I was in the local NPHC and the president a male Greek (not Alpha) kept calling everybody Soror and Frat. I told him to stop calling me Soror and he said according to the NPHC guidelines we are to refer to each other as such.
I don't call anyone Soror but "the pretty girls" and I feel funny when Alphas call me Soror, with the GayKAs business and all that. I do like it when they call me Sister, though.
