I know that this is out of my lane, but, maybe I have some information:

There are Reno area Alumnae chapters for several of the sororities on her "needs recs" list, since I suspect she's rather close geographically to here too.

So, maybe checking with them can also be an option. Hope this helps. :-)

And I am completely out of my lane and carnation, 33girl, honeychile, irishpipes, or any other women on here that I greatly respect are welcome to tell me so, but how is misscherrypie's advice incorrect? She said that if the op is close to the Reno area, she could contact alumnae groups for the groups she's missing. Even as a clueless IFC guy from my reading of GC over the years I do not see incorrect advice.

If her daughter has truly exhausted all personal connections then she should go to the Alumnae Panhellenic group in the town or area that is closest to her, not start approaching individual sorority alumnae groups in whatever different areas that might be close by. There is a way these things are supposed to work to be most efficient and reasons why they are set up that way.

Giving any advice for a group that you do not belong to is never the right thing to do.
