"Boo" or "Baby" sometimes preceded by the word "my".

Normally I don't like when people refer to themselves or others as "bitches" but I do take a great deal of pleasure in the term "HBIC."

I can't stand the way that people use the word "hater."
In my day (LOL), the word "hater" was used to describe a jealous person. Now, a person gets called a "hater" for disagreeing with someone! Makes no sense to me!
Also, I can't stand when people say "Let the haters hate!" or "We love the haters!" etc. If you're walking around saying things like that, there's a pretty good chance that no one is actually "hating" on you (i.e. no one is actually jealous of you).

praxis and marginalized I'll give you. I haven't come across diasporic though so I'm not sure on that one... I'd also like to nominate No Child Left Behind as I spent a whole semester talking about it in one class.

I wish people would just say "NCLB" instead of "Nickle-B". I can't stand "Nickle-B."

Nickle-B sounds like someone is talking about Nickelback. Since NCLB and Nickelback are the two suckiest things yet to come out of the 21st century, I see the connection.

I have never heard it called Nickle-B. Interesting... I can sort of see where it comes from but agree that it sounds like nickleback.

The "haters" comments got me fired up about my TRUE pet peeve...a phrase not a word. It is any variation on "I can't stand drama". If you have to actually say it, then chances are 98.75% that YOU are the girl/guy always starting fights and rumors. I have never met somebody who felt the need to say that (or its twin "I get along with everybody") who is not completely off their rocker insane.

The BIGGEST drama queens are always the girls whose Facebook profiles say "I hate drama" or who consistently have status updates stating that they are "so over the drama from this year." Chances are good that they were the main instigators of all said drama.

On PoF, about 60% of guys' profiles say "I'm looking for a woman who won't bring drama" or "I don't have any drama and don't want any!" Yes, because if you don't write that, you'll have gobs of women running up to you saying, "Hi, you should date me because have so much drama to offer!!" Whew, good thing you put up that requirement.
