Now, if Obama were to want to appoint Ayers to an important position, or if Palin tried to get a job for the in-law, then it would be a problem. I know I wouldn't want to be judged by some of my in-laws!  |
Actually in the political world, that kind of thing does reflect...whether it should or not. It really doesn't matter if they are trying to bring the in-law or offending party into the administration in a meaningful way. I think the general attitude is that politicians are guilty by association.
