Mother of Palin's boyfriend arrest

Wow, Bristol picked a good family there

My goodness. How terrible. Seems to be one thing after another with that group.

On a hijack note...has Bristol had her baby yet?

I wonder if this who thing is a good advertisement for her younger children.

Kinda like---"See, this is why we do NOT have sex before marriage. Look at the family you might get stuck with!" lol

That would scare me enough. haha

No, she hasn't but she is due within the next few days.

A lesson to all of those who still tried to point out Obama's drug usage (year and years ago that he readily admitted to...more than I can say for Clinton or Bush) as a reason why he shouldn't have been elected.

Stones and glass houses.

according to the link, Bristol is due Saturday...question is....is the wedding still on....?

Hmmm...

Barack Obama was accused of "palling around with terrorists" a claim never substantiated.

Sarah Palin's family can be accused of "palling around with druggies".

...wow.

At this point, I can only assume you're trolling with posts like this . . . seriously, this is a total non-issue, for a multitude of reasons, and has absolutely nothing to do with Barack Obama or how some of his opponents tried to portray him. You really need to get over this mentality - you won!

Jesus "palled around with druggies" and prostitutes too. See I can totally add something irrelevant to the topic too.

If the roles were reversed, I wonder how much of a non issue this would be.

ETA: It's a non issue the same way Palin told us that her daughter's out of wedlock pregnancy was a non issue.

I hope you realize how ridiculous this whole line of posting is, or that you're just trying to get a rise out of people. Otherwise, it's a bit odd how much anger there is behind your political posting.

Also, you can't (with any credibility) opine about how much of a "non-issue" something would be when you're the one making the issue out of this.

ETA: You may want to take a page from GeekyPenguin, nittanyalum, or any number of other posters who obviously feel passionately about the issues, but who have been able to participate in reasonable political discussion.

DaemonSeid 12-19-2008 09:26 PM

I am not the one who said it was a non issue.

I am being very reasonable BTW...sorry if I am pointing out a double standard that will be a sore and sensitive subject to some.

Some of you knw good and gat dayumed well if the roles were reversed, people would want Obama's head on a platter.

So yeah I am calling a spade a spade...

Palling around with terrorists?

Palling around with a druggie...

How is it a double standard? If it were Obama or Biden we were talking about, it would be an issue to some people. The fact that it is Palin is an issue to some people (including you). It's a double standard as to individual feelings on the issue, just as there is a double standard on most issues involving politicians.

Would you be posting the same things you're posting about Palin if it was Obama? If not, then you're guilty of a similar double standard.

Roles reversed? So if Malia was pregnant by a kid who's mom was a druggie?

Why bring Obama into this at all? This thread had NOTHING to do with Obama, and in fact had nothing to do with Sarah Palin either.

Would you feel differently if it was Obama? Would you be posting the same things you're posting about Palin? If not, then you're guilty of the same double standard.

Funny part is...I wouldn't be the one posting it....think about it.

Leave it to somebody ike Phigam to do....

Remember, Palin tried to play the guilty by association card....this is doing nothing but circling back around and adding to the list of black marks....including Troopergate

Her daughter is pregnant by someone who either he or his mom has drugs in the house using and or selling, your town is called the meth capital of the state and...did you forget she is GOVERNOR??

how do you NOT know these things about your future in laws???
