Barack Obama was accused of "palling around with terrorists" a claim never substantiated.

Sarah Palin's family can be accused of "palling around with druggies".

At this point, I can only assume you're trolling with posts like this . . . seriously, this is a total non-issue, for a multitude of reasons, and has absolutely nothing to do with Barack Obama or how some of his opponents tried to portray him. You really need to get over this mentality - you won!

ETA: It's a non issue the same way Palin told us that her daughter's out of wedlock pregnancy was a non issue.

Also, you can't (with any credibility) opine about how much of a "non-issue" something would be when you're the one making the issue out of this.

ETA: You may want to take a page from GeekyPenguin, nittanyalum, or any number of other posters who obviously feel passionately about the issues, but who have been able to participate in reasonable political discussion.

How is it a double standard? If it were Obama or Biden we were talking about, it would be an issue to some people. The fact that it is Palin is an issue to some people (including you). It's a double standard as to individual feelings on the issue, just as there is a double standard on most issues involving politicians.


Would you be posting the same things you're posting about Palin if it was Obama? If not, then you're guilty of a similar double standard.
