Well my university recently made a stupid rule regarding Rush Week events: "no more than 17 women can attend no more than 2 rush week events."
So we can have 10 girls at Monday's event and 7 girls at Wednesday's event, or 17 at Monday's, etc- but if we have 10 Monday and 8 Tuesday, we get fined.
It's pretty ridiculous, and I think 17 is an odd/random number, but there are ways to "get around it."
