We have about 14 NIC fraternities and none of them seem to have a problem with this, maybe its because rush events are usually bowling, HOOTERS, baseball games, poker, etc. events where women are not the center of attention anyway. I just want to point out that just because *your* campus IFC (the general your/you) may not allow women at rush events, doesn't mean that on other campuses, women can not attend. Each campus is different and there are no NIC rules that govern women at IFC rush events.
