One of my favorite Southern names is Harper (Harper Lee - "To Kill A Mockingbird"). I see a couple of people have mentioned characters from the book, too.
I also love "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" - Maggie and Brick would make a good canine couple.
Beau would be a good boy name to go with Bella, too. I just realized you already had the female dog and were just looking for a boy's name.
