This is totally off-topic, but my (married) cousins are Ken and Barbie. Seriously.
But, on the topic, I've definitely seen a Chris/Chris couple. I don't think I'd have a problem with it personally, but it would be weird for a guy to have my name as a first name.
What do y'all think - for heterosexual couples - if the woman has a male-sounding name and the man has a female sounding name. For example, I know a woman named Brian (pronounced breeAHn) and a man named Kim (short for Kimble). They aren't actually together...but what if?

When I lived in AZ, I met this newly-wed couple through a friend of mine, and their names were Erin and Aaron. People kinda called them "Erin/Aaron squared"
They seemed to have no problems with it

I knew a couple by the names of Daniel and Danielle once. Thankfully, when they had children, they named them Tara and Elizabeth. No dumb variations of their own names.

Speaking of Stephanies, my friend dated 5.... IN A ROW. Yes, they go by numbers, and know this since 2 of them hung out in a group before.
I don't think I could date a Phillip. Or someone with my brother or father's name.

I totally couldn't do it. Leslie used to be predominantly a man's name. Now I believe there are many more Leslie's that are female (at least in the U.S.). It would actually really creep me out. "I love you, Leslie." "Oh, Leslie!" ICK!!

My name is too feminine to ever worry about this happening, but I've known both a Leigh/Lee and a Lynn/Lynne couples.
But the best one was the roomie of a friend of mine in NYC. His name was Frank, and his boyfriend's name was Frank (he was totally gorgeous!). My friend & I visited them one weekend, and afterwards sent a thank you note that had dauschunds on the front and said, "Franks A Lot!" on the inside!

My name is Chris and I had a girlfriend Chris in college - same spelling. I never really thought about it much and it certainly didn't affect our relationship.

my name is a derivitive of a male name with an "A" tacked onto the end. however, i've never run into a man from this generation with the root word for my name.

I haven't dated someone with my name, but here's something I think is strange. My current boyfriend's last girlfriend had the same first name as me AND my ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend also has the first name as me...

I'd actually be quite scared if I met a man named Brianna.

The closest masculine name to mine would be Emil, but I really don't think it would be that weird for me to date some with that name.
I know a girl who is dating a guy and she has the same first name as his ex. She also has the same last name as as her boyfriend.

My name is very feminine (to me) but after looking up my name on facebook, I see there are several guys with it, too. I definitely don't like running into ANYONE with my name (my sister made it up so I didn't know anyone else in the world had it), so being with a man is out of the question.
