Dear 9dstpm:
I apologize for that worker. This is my job (I do benefits, though, not WIC) and I forget sometimes. I too, am a single parent, and do my best to treat every client of mine with respect, kidness and some humor every now and then. It's hard sometimes, like today, but then I read stories like this and remember that not everyone is "the welfare mother" stereotype. I do my best to go above and beyond when I can. Thanks for reminding me of that.
