Unhappy i just don't know what to say

Not even books on CD???? I could finish almost a whole book in 5+ hours. This saddens me to no END.

I am so glad you told us, Soror. That is so important to know.

I should have my whole life together by the time I complete the FPM. I mean, if I have to be with me and my thoughts all the time? This should be great therapy. I read somewhere that some dude memorized the Declaration of Independence and recited it on his runs. I'm cool on that, lol, but I did wonder why he did it, and I guess now I kinda know.

Delph: Thanks, chica!

I do want to let you all know since music was mentioned in the previous post that in most races, particularly running races, headphones/music/mp3 players are not allowed. They are considered to be pacing devices (which in reality music is) and also quite dangerous when running with 5,000 other people.

If you train with a program (like TNT) they won't let you train with music either so you can learn how to self-pace and get used to running and only having your mind to entertain you. Its wise to do this even if you train alone b/c if you've practiced for six months w/ headphones and then try to run race day w/o it will wig you out.

This was a big shock to me when I started training, so I thought I'd share.
