What time do you have to be at work? If possible try and work it in before your day starts, and then kick it in on the weekend as well. I know my gym opens at 6am during the week, and I went once early in the morning because I wanted to workout before I went to the hairdresser and there was a class that started at 6am, and people were there that I had no idea got there that early in the morning. Also I know that at work some people go during their lunch hour.

I've lost an additional three pounds. I am extremely excited about the weight loss so far. This week, I'm committing to working out five days a week for 30 minutes. That's going to be my start. I plan on working out prior to going to work. My hair is natural so I don't have to worry about spending too much time on my hair after working out. Let's do this!

i have to be to work at 8am. my commute is 2.5 hrs.
my gym hours are 6am-11pm. i get home around 8:30. i am absolutely pooped when i get in.

on a sad note, ever since i joined the gym, ive been eating more crap, but now i think about everything i eat. i cant wait to be at a point where i can comfortably say "nope, i dont want this donut." or "i WANT to go to the gym today.

You will get there tld221.

I'm actually proud of myself. I've resisted so much since I've started WW this time around. I know that I committed to working out five days a week, but so far I've only done three. I'm not beating myself up though because I know that it's better than what I did last week. You have to make baby steps.

BTW, one of my favorite little healthy snacks are Quakes Rice Snacks! Those things are the bomb and they're between 1 to 2 pts per serving. I feel like I'm eating chips when I eat them.

What are some of you guy's healthy eating snacks?

Let's keep up the great work. I'm getting my sexy swagger back!

The Quakes Rice Snacks are good, especially the cheese flavored ones! OMG!

Some other snacks I enjoy are Special K bars, Baked Lays chips, baby carrots and yes, Doritos (portioned right).

I agree when it comes to working out you just hvae to do it...trust me I didn't wake wanting to work out, but I knew that i had to do it, once you really get into a rythem, you will miss the days that you don't work out.

Some of my snacks are fat free chips by Ruffle and Lays. they aren't the baked ones, they are regular ones just no fat and they are only 1 pt per serving for the WW folks. I like the Quaker rice cakes as well, but my fav are the caramel ones. Also, Philly Swirl pops, they are zero pts a serving. Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich wheels are only2 pts. The special K snack bites are so good, they have vanilla and strawberry, both only 2 pts.

First of all, congrats to you on your weight loss so far.

As far as snacks, I like to snack on no suger added fudge pops, low-fat cottage cheese mixed with mandarin oranges, nuts, or Lays WOW brand doritos or chips.

And btw I have lost a total of 34 pounds since the end of June!
I have **coughsixtycoughcough** more pounds left to lose.

Thank you for congratulating me.

Now an even bigger CONGRATULATIONS to you! I understand what it feels like to have a massive amount of weight to lose. Trust, I'm in that same boat, but you've definitely made some progress. That's phenomenal.

Say, do those chips you eat with Olestra (sp?) make you get bubble guts? I tried those and they are good, but it does not agree with my stomach. After doing research I discovered why.

Great work ladies!

I have heard that Olestra products can make some people get the "juicy toots" lol, but it doesn't have that effect on me. What did you find out about it?

That was my problem. It was as if my body wanted to compensate for the lost calories by filling me with more of them!!

Now, I just snack on fruit and veggies. I buy them in bulk, and that is what I eat when I feel the urge to "fill up". In fact, I just purchased another bag of frozen fruit yesterday.

Since you asked, I thought you should read the article for yourself. It had me kinda freakin' out! Read below...

__________

Olestra has an extraordinary avidity for certain fat-soluble substances, far exceeding what one would expect based on the fat substitute's proportion of the diet. Olestra's removal from the body of fat-soluble nutrients is linked directly to the additive's being a non-absorbable lipid-like substance.

Olestra causes gastrointestinal disturbances, which are sometimes severe, including diarrhea, fecal urgency, and more frequent and looser bowel movements.

Here's the entire article: http://www.cspinet.org/olestra/11cons.html
