Manners is Manners whether North or South. In fact, I was born in the North attended a Southern University for college-believe me the people I knew down South were very particular about their manners. I once made the mistake of calling an older cousin by her first name and was promptly corrected! she is Miss so and so to you and I considered myself an adult at that time! LOL
