You shouldn't need to even ask this question, because it's common sense.
OF COURSE you can enjoy your sorority membership if the the chapter house and you do not live in it. Even sorority chapters with houses have members living outside the house. And what about the scores of chapters without houses? Do you think that all of those members have crappy experiences simply because they don't live in, or don't even have the option of living in, a sorority house? Not every likes living with a lot of people, so that experience and preference will vary as well.
Now stop obsessing about something you cannot control.
