Yep. I had been dating this guy for two years, and he showed up on my birthday LATE with a dozen roses that were still wet on the bottom (meaning, he stopped along the way over to pick some up because he didn't take the time to find any other gift). I'll never forget that!
I was all dressed up and everything, waiting around for a whole hour, and he shows up with that! I promptly threw them in the wastebasket down the hall (I was living in a dorm) and all the girls thought I was a nut!
