Animals do not "screw" randomly, they usually are in heat and they usually do it because reproduction. It is thought that only the human animal has sex for other reasons than procreation.

Right. Most animals mate during mating season. When people have sex with nothing there, it looks the same way to me. I know people mate for pleasure, but to me, to do it and just get up and leave is just as trifling as a dog mating with another dog and then leaving and looking for another one to mate with. That's the way it is. These same people then wonder how they got an STD. The part that makes me mad is when they give it to someone who wants more than just the sex.
