The Mummy is good.
I'm jumping into this thread finally. I really want to see the House Bunny. Yes, I'm insane.
Re: the Alpha Gam as a writer, I'm not buying it, but lots and lots of people do have professional names (while still operating under their real names in "real life") for the movie biz, right?

I'd wait until the Mummy comes out on DVD, totally not worth going to the movies to see it! I thought it was an utter disappointment!
I didn't really wanna see the House Bunny, until we all had this discussion! lol. Now I really wanna see it, hopefully I can convince someone to go w/ me tomorrow!

I'm thinking that, if Karen really isn't an Alpha Gam, IHQ would sic' a cease and desist on her. It's been a few years since Legally Blonde came out and was a hit, so if Karen is a member...you'd think she would be a part of the Accomplished Alpha Gams list -- real name and all.

Well maybe they don't know she's been claiming us, and since we put it on GC, now they will? I know if I found some incredible artifact that adjusted the archaeological theories of the populating of North America I'd be the first one to call IHQ to try and get on the Accomplished Alpha Gams list. I'd make sure to even submit a photo of me in a fedora with a whip looking fierce.
Oh and didn't make it to the movies, someone sucks so I had dinner with a sister and then proceeded to have an allergy attack. House Bunny is on my list though, because of this thread I have to see it.

I liked Traveling Pants 2 but the first one was a *lot* better. At no point in the second movie did I get a sincere sisterly vibe from all four of them at the same time. They just gave each girl her own subplot and threw them together at the end.
The main reason the movies work at all is because America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn are so damn talented. The scenes in the first one where Carmen and Tibby would totally get on each other's nerves, then come back and love each other to pieces were dead on. As a guy I certainly appreciate Blake Lively but there's also something deeply annoying about her. And the whole Lena / Costas subplot is basically just a Harlequin Romance. It was only interesting to the extent that it was about Lena's journey toward being a woman, and that part got thrown out in the second movie.
But I can watch the first one over and over. It's the best movie about a group of young women that's come out in, I dunno, like forever...

So why aren't the Betas all up in arms about this movie? http://www.college-themovie.com/#/cast
And how in god's name did that little "chicken guy" (or whatever his nickname was) Kevin Covais from American Idol get a role in it????

Am I color blind, or is there no turquoise or grey involved?
I admit, I was hoping for an Animal House type movie, and came away disappointed. It's cute, though.

Too bad there are no big squirrels on these boards... <giggling>
If you find some major archeological find, I'll nominate you for the Distinguished Citizen Award
If I win the Mega Millions, will I be an accomplished Alpha Gam?

I know I get upset that Phi Mu doesn't always update their "famous Alum" section, either! That, along with poorly done up websites for some great chapters really bugs me. Yay, for the ladies of Alpha Gamma Delta!

I have yet to see any confirmation that she is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.

I hear a lot of birds chirping in that thread.
(I don't really feel like starting drama in the AGD forum)
Ms. Lutz, if that's really you and you're still reading, why can't we find you on Sister Search?
