You know, I have never read any of E. Lynn Harris' books. But I would like to see Terry's book "Mama" as a movie. I can't think of her name but I think her first name is Jennifer and she was Whitney Houston's mother in the Preacher's Wife. That is who I would want to play "Mama".

As far as I heard, E. Lynn Harris' Invisible Life is being optioned for film. I am not sure if it has been bought yet, but I know it is in the process.

flyy girl - by omar tyree; that lil girl who was in love & basketball has good attitude for the part, but i don't think she is cute enough.
cheaters - by eric jerome dickey; i think that would be a good movie, as well as milk in my coffee, but, there the plot is so thick in the book that i don't know if they would be able to, effectively, incorporate everything.
i agree with blueriegn, jenifer lewis (i believe is her last name) would do an excellent job as the mother in "mama"
and, whew...i don't know if the world is ready for ANY of e. lynn harris' books to be made into a movie! those books deal with a lot of taboos...bi/homosexuality in the black community, corporate america, and professional athletes...CLAWD HAMMERCY!!

The one book I thought I wanted to see in a movie, was awful. Disappearing Acts. My fav. book, but the movie sucked.
Maybe the Atkins Diet, LOL.

Although, I hate to see how terrible movies made from books turn out, I must say that I would like to see an Omar Tyree movie though.....his books are just so enthralling

i just read another book that would possibly make a good movie:
A Day Late and A Dollar Short by Terry McMillan
it had a lot of characters each with their own daily drama!
