PC ness and Politics.

Question: Is political correctness getting in the way of this year's elections?

Has this year's electoral race shown anything to you about America and how it handles being politically correct?

No one is politically correct. They are all wrong about politics.

McCain: he's pretty much the same as bush, but in some ways more moderate, but not moderate enough.

Hillary: grayshirt. You might as well move to Spain or Venezeula if you support her. I pay out the ass for medicine, but that is okay because I'm middle class and male, so I can afford my own plus that for two other people (based on my SS taxes) and she will expand this even further for her reactionary health care plan.

Obama: Alright, I guess. But he's not a radical. He should be, but he's not. His change, if it happens, will take too long, and probably won't work. He's probably the best one for the job, but that's not really saying a lot.

We need drastic change in certain areas of this country. Most of these issues go unaddressed and instead things like the war in Iraq (I've never heard any one of them come forward with a plan for catching bin Laden) and gay marriage and whatever else.

While we're at it: i think Gen. Clark should have been nominated and I will never trust the democrats/superdelegates.

Not especially. I think political correctness is crippling our country in a lot of ways, but I think the gloves are off concerning political campaigns much more than in other arenas.

Also, on the Hillary/Obama assessment... I think Hillary is a political opportunist. Meanwhile, I personally believe Obama is a true ideologue harboring many views reminiscent of those held by the far-left elite (radical social engineering, opposition to enterprise economics, etc.).

We just need to grow up and not get offended if someone uses the wrong hand to pee. It just seems like everything is i can't believe he said that or she did this... I don't CARE about what church you go to or how many times you've been to Bosnia. I don't CARE what you think about other people. I want the candidate to tell me what they want to do, and then shut up, cuz thats all i need to know!

It actually does matter what candidates say and what views they express. If they were common citizens then they wouldn't have the platform to expouse whatever viewpoints they expouse. But as politicians you can't hope to serve the people and represent some hint of a common interest and goal if you are ignorant as hell.

This country is too haunted by its past and present for people to logically and realistically think otherwise.
