Mine:

In 2008, I resolve to....

1) Cook more - I rely on eating out and Lean Cuisines entirely too much for my meals.

2) Work out at least 3x a week

3) Work off a monthly budget (though this is a carryover from '07... I have yet to discipline myself enough for this one... haha)

p.s. Last year one of my resolutions was to drink more water and it turned out great. In 06 I drank a ton of sodas a day... I stopped buying soft drinks entirely at the grocery store, and bought those flavor packets for water to take with me to work. I also bought a plastic container that has measuring numbers on the side for when I drink water at work so I know how much I am drinking (esp. if I was going to use the mix in there). So far so good, I've still stuck with it, but it can be hard to remember to drink lots of water when I'm not at work. I will rarely have a soda, but I do every once in awhile

I've been thinking about this for a few days...

1. Work on getting healthy-- eat better, exercise more, and get more rest.

2. Read at least one new book a month. It can't be one that I've already read (which I have a habit I have) and it can't be trashy romance novel.

3. Get more organized when we move into our new home. We don't have enough storage for all of our many activities (golf, camping, fishing, gardening, woodworking... etc.), so hopefully we have more than enough space at the new house! We are putting in a home gym, so that should help with resolution number 1.

4. Forgive more, love more, and enjoy life more.

5. Watch less tv and spend less time on the interent.

I want to concentrate this year on building a better me!

Not to make any resolutions.

Actually, that was my resolution many years ago, and I've stuck to it.

Not to let anyone take advantage of me ever again, physically and/ or mentally

continue paying off the credit cards

keep my room... cleaner lol

actually be good at work, stay offline (except GC) and be ON TIME (have a horrible time with that one, even with 3 alarm clocks.... )

spend more time with my little sisters (biological)

eat better, exercise

cut down on the smoking... if not quit all together... (and try to get my mom and dad to quit too)

- Save money by not spending so much on things like eating out, clothes, and hobbies. I'm saving for a cruise short term and a condo long term.

- Keep eating right and exercising.

- Mainly, I have to work on forgiving/forgetting/letting go. By nature I am WAY too rancorous a person. I make the Count of Monte Cristo look forgiving in comparison. I have to let go of grudges. Holding on to grudges hurts me and nobody else.

1) Pay off Christmas bills. (We did a HUGE Christmas this year. My job is just for extra money. I work just because I want to and love what I do. The money we get just goes to luxuries. So, we'll be completely paid off by May and that includes a trip, too.)

2) Get disciplined and drop 10 pounds. (I am smaller than before I had Max, but still would like to weigh my high school weight again. If I lay off of the cokes, icees, and caramel-mochas from Starbucks, I'll be there in a month or two.)

3) Try to be more punctual. (I am late by nature. But, if I can drag myself out of bed an hour earlier during the week, I can make a couple more hundred dollars each week. That means an extra vacation this year. Plus, since I work in my family's business, I'll make my family happier )

That's it, really. I am happy with the person I am except for minor flaws. So, I am changing what bothers me and will appreciate the person I am otherwise.

1. Be less lazy!

That's my only resolution, but I want to do it in a bunch of different ways. I need to do my reading for class, clean my room, clean my car, and lay off the junk food. I'm sure there are other things, but overall, be less lazy!
