Morgellons Disease

Has anyone heard of this before?

I've been looking it up on the web and it's really creeping me out.

http://www.morgellons.org/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgellons

I was thinking it was an urban legend.....but it's not on Snopes.

Just for the "fun" of it, if you really want to be grossed out, google for, or look on wikipedia for, Harlequin babies.

I've never heard of this but it's quite the nastiness.

That looks so painful! For those wondering (if you couldn't find it): http://www.thefetus.net/page.php?id=1448.

I must say that these things don't really gross me out at all. This is the kind of situation where I'd want to scoop the baby up and cry with it.

As far as the Morgellons...hmmmm...

ETA: I did a little more reading and saw that in at least one study, snow fleas (they're white) were found on the people. It would make sense if they all have severe flea infections and the flea larva are all over them. Have y'all seen poor dogs and cats with severe flea infestations?? Ouch!

That would also explain the flying bugs (i.e. jumping fleas).

I'd never seen the video. (And i don't want to ) It is tragic though.

A lot of those "Scare" sites (where you look at some picture or video and scary things jump at you) use harlequin baby pictures.. cause they're just freaky!

Poor babies

O.K., O.K., We all know dead baby jokes are sick,
but then again laughter is the best medicine, isn't it?

What's present do you get for a dead baby?

A dead puppy

That article said with strict medical care, one Harlequin baby lived to 9 years old. Why would you do that to a child?? I am horribly against abortion in 99.999% percent of cases, but this is one case I cannot imagine I would be against it. That would be a terrible disease to live with.

Did you realize you can smoke and drink whiskey on the plane to hell? And the best part is that it's not some budget airline like Southwest, we get our own charter jet.

What's the difference between a truckload of dead babies and a truckload of bowling balls?

You can unload a truckload of dead babies with a pitch fork.
