Hi Sisters! The convention was awesome! We had so much fun talking to other sisters! Unfortunately, Alison had to work so she couldn't go. I went along with Emily, Stephanie and Becky. We talked to a group of older sisters from Butler (about 30 miles North). They were so cute! Some of the sisters had been in Beta Sigma Phi for 49-50 years! They invited us up for lunch and they want to be pen pals! We arrived a little late but got to stay for cocktail hour. I finally met Sylvia from City Council. She is just awesome. The highlight of my night....I got to meet Laura Ross Wingfield! She is super sweet and down to earth. I was so excited when I came home to tell my husband about the convention, I was still jumping up and down. Everyone laughed. Laura took our picture and then she posed for a picture with us. She said we might be in the next Torch. If we are, my hair usually looks better..it's 94 degrees here. Can't do anything with it.
It was fantastic! We only stayed for a few hours. If you can get to a convention, do it. They're terrific!
