The Bush Admin let known terrorists into the country?

Just realized that Bush & Co. allowed Gaspar Jimenez Escobedo, Pedro Remon and Guillermo Novo into the US.

So much for fighting terrorists.

I think the President believes that killing Castro would not be a crime.

It wouldn't be a difficult thing to make a case supporting these guys as not being terrorists. They don't really fit the US model of what a terrorist is for one. They were trying to kill off an oppressive head of state. If someone were to attempt the same with Kim Jong Il, I'd support them in that as well.

But I forgot, praising Castro has become a liberal cause du jour.

No, terrorists target innocent people to get their messages across through terror -- the operative word being terror.

In this case, the target was Fidel Castro, a far from innocent man. He's a murderer and a brutal dictator. If these men had been successful, the world would have been left a better place.

Are you saying that Fidel is a good leader for Cuba, someone that should be respected and admired because of his fight for the worker's paradise of Cuba?

This is true. Although Castro will die on his own before too long.

To accuse the Bush Administration of allowing known terrorists into the country is really grasping.
