There are a few ladies on here who are involved with alumnae panhellenics. Nhfulmer (sp?) is one, and through contact with her I am also involved in the same one she is. What kinds of things are you wanting to know?

I enjoy it so far - you get to meet lots of new ladies and ya'll can share ideas to take back to your own alum. associations. Also, you can get your associaiton together with another GLO's alum. association.

HI There,

As of this past May I am officially an alum. I've already become a volunteer with Phi Sigma Sigma and am going to help get the L.A. County alum chapter going. In the meantime I want to possibly become involved with a local alumnae panhellenic but have no clue where to start, can someone give me some pointers. My chapter is the only NPC on campus and has only been there for three years, our Greek Advisor is part of a national Latina based group and isn't too familiar with the panhellenic options for the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm also going to email CO to see if they can assist me.

Carolyn

I suggest starting by finding out if there is already an established Alum. Panhel. in your area. You can find out by visiting this link, or you can email the advisor for your area, found via this link. You can contact her, let her know your location, and she will email you and let you know either who to contact, or she can get you started in the process of beginning a new APH.

Feel free to PM me if you have further questions.

ETA: It looks like you'll want to email Carol Coordt. If there is not an APH in your area, you'll want to contact Lisa Keathley. Hope this helps!

Carolyn,

I can talk to you more about this when I see you tonight, but there is an APH in Long Beach. CO placed me with them and they are all very nice women, however due to the distance and my new position I wanted to find a reliable replacement. If you are interested I can set things up.

Tara
