Classic Show of the Week: Hey Dude

Someone brought up Hey Dude in the Salute Your Shorts thread, so I think it should be the next show.

My favorite episode was when Danny (The Native-American) told that one guy he couldn't use anything invented by Native Americans, and the guy ended up not being able to do basically anything all week.

My favorite MOMENT however was when they made the rich girl cut up all her credit cards.

...when ted and bradley are handcuffed together for a day

...when melody's best friend visits

AND

Whatever happened to some of the people from that show? A lot of them disappeared. The only ones I hear anything about are Christine Taylor who is married to Ben Stiller and has been in a few movies (Brady Bunch) and David Lascher who was on Sabrina the Teenage Witch for a while.

Looking at imdb.com, the cast hasn't done much of anything since the show ended. I loved this show back in the day, even though it was cheesy as hell.

I loved this show, too. It started to go downhill once Ted left to go to summer school

I watched Fifteen, too, but we can make that next week's classic show of the week

I LOVED HEY DUDE!!!!!

My favorites were Ted and Brad - b/c I was sure they'd end up together.

When Ted went away to summer school, they brought that new guy - but then Ted came back to the ranch!

My favorite episode was when Ted asked Melody out on a date to make Brad jealous, so she asked (whoever that guy was) out on a date - and then Meloday and (mystery man) left Brad and Ted stranded!

Nickoloaden (sp?) would be smart to put a few of this classic episodes of these shows on DVD. How fun would it be to get a DVD with Salute your Shorts and Hey Dude on it!

i think nickelodean should add this, salute your shorts, and some other shows to their nick at night lineup instead of repeating the same brady bunch, cosby show, and roseanne episodes over and over again!

David Lascher was on Blossom too! And the TV version of Clueless.

I know for a fact that the girl who played Brad quit acting after the show but I'm not sure what happened to everyone else.

Here's a "Hey Dude" website that my friends and I found a year or two ago while going through childhood TV show nostalgia:

http://www.swlink.net/~danichi/heydude/

And yes, I watched "Fifteen." It was my friends' and my favorite show. Matt the alcoholic! Brooke the b*tch! Dylan the rebel! One weekend they had a "Fifteen" marathon and I swear we did not leave the house.
