Crying over Commercials
OK so i am to lazy to do a search....
but has anyone else ever cried over a publix commerical or any commerical for that matter.
it was 7:00am and i was sitting by the TV groggy eyed having my honey nut cheerios before work...
i was sooooooooooooooooooo TIRED i could barely feed myself...i am a funny site in the morning...
so this Publix commerical comes on and i start hysterical crying!!!
and im sitting there thinking why the HELL am i crying but i cant stop...
so whatever maybe it was the combination of it POURING rain outside and the idea that i really didnt want to get up and go to work...id rather have stayed in bed all cozy...
whatever it was i felt a lil silly for crying..
that whole...im in need of a hug from a big cuddly handsom guy cause im a helpless girl came over me!!!
only other time i cried over a commerical was the mastercard one about the seafoam green dress for a friends wedding....
"shoes ...25 dollars"
"dying shoes seafoam green....whatever dollars.."
"seafoam green dress..." something dollars
you get it...
and then....
"...FRIEND youd wear a seafoam green dress for.....PRICELESS"
i was crying like a baby...called my best friend and told her i would wear seafoam green for her...LOL that was a while ago but funny none the less...
ok
SOOOOO WHAT COMMERCIALS HAVE YOU CRIED OVER...??????

the commercials for hospitals usually make me cry....there's this one for the Holzer Center in Jackson Ohio where the "lead" tells her dad that she cna't wait for him to walk her down the aisle...the next screen is him in the hospital after a heart attack and she's crying....and then he lives and walks her down the aisle. so sweet.
the wedding one you are talking about made me cry too.....i love the little things like that.

Hallmark commercials usually get a tear or two out of me. They are just so sweet sometimes.

There are two:
1) There's this commercial (I don't know the product) where this lady is a flight attendant and she jogs every morning. While out on her morning jog, she always runs by an old lady's house. She notices that the lady's newspapers are piling up at the end of her driveway. One morning, she decides to run the papers up to the door. She starts to make this her regular routine. One day, the old lady sends her a card and thanks her. Turns out she had hip surgery and can't walk down the drive.....Well, the next scene shows the old lady limping out to meet the jogger and gives her a hug! I wept!
2) There's an old commercial where this family on a block notices that this old lady either never leaves her house or doesn't get a meal....I really can't remember, but in the end, the wife goes to the old lady's house and they hug...I WISH I COULD REMEMBER BETTER DETAILS!

These remind me of the one that always makes me cry.
Starts out with the mailman coming to an old womans house and she asks if theres anything for her, there isn't. The lady across the street notices and then she has her little boy fun a card over and put it in her mailbox. The next day the little boy comes into the house with a jar of jam or something and says, "Mrs. So and SO, gave me this for you. I think she was crying." Then it ends with the woman going over the the older lady and giving her a hug.

THat commercial ALWAYS gets me.
I admit it, I am a total sap. I bawl like a baby during movies, but I swear this is one of very few commercials that can make me tear up.

There was a commercial that was on several years ago around Christmas time that showed a little boy begging for a certain teddy bear. The parents bought the bear and the little boy takes it and gives it to a homeless kid. That one always got me.

The one for Folger's or Maxwell House where Peter comes home from college on Christmas day and makes the coffee....
CLASSIC. That one gets me. I admit it.

I hate commercials like that. It's damn insensitive to those whose parents DIDN'T survive. Yeah, my ass is going to be walking down the aisle alone. I love commercials that remind me of that.
I hate to see hospitals advertise themselves as Gods, all the while playing on our emotions.

Peter! I can hear the sister and mother
in my head!

Would it happen to be the commercial
where the little girl makes breakfast
for her father, the policeman, returning
home from his night shift? If this is the one,
then yes, a Publix commercial has made me
tear.
Hallmark commercials have made me cry.
The ones during Christmas, that is.
