and just found my mom's membership certificate. My grandmother gave me all of my mom's old DG stuff right after my mom's death, but the certificate was missing. I can't belive I just found it. It's so amazing to see that it is the exact same as the one I have (names, etc, changed of course). The only difference is that it is in a blue folder, mine came in a green one.
I have a ton of old DG stuff now...lot's of old Anchora's, the CCOM from 1970, old name tags, an old song book, and a number of other things...it's amazing to see how much DG has grown in the past 30 years...the CCOM has quadrupled in size and things like that.
I just wanted to share how happy I was that I found her certificate...
