Alright you adrenaline junkies...

1.What is the fastest speed you've
ever driven a car or have experienced while riding with someone? I'm mostly
interested in people just driving regular cars on regular roads (as opposed to race
cars on the race track).
And, don't be stupid! I don't want anyone go out and set his/her own speed record just to get
a post in on this thread.

2.Ever been bunjee jumping, scuba diving, etc?

3.Any other crazy stunts you pulled off?

Hmm...I've gone 90 mph in my Jimmy before...but got a ticket for going 85 in a 65 in my Sundance however...lol...

I've also been around 95 in my bf's eclipse gsx..

As of crazy stunts..well...I was skiing one day and was basically going too fast for the conditions..I hit some ice and well....(as my parents told me later) I flipped 3 times and landed on my upper back twisted..they all ran out thinking I had broken my back..it was pretty fun for all I remember but..it caused my parents to be both bawling when they came out to see if I was alright..not a good memory...

During my freshman year, I was in the car with my friend when he decided to race someone down I-95 in Ft.Lauderdale going 120 mph! Scary. I-95 in Ft.Lauderdale is scary enough even going 50 mph.

I've never bungee jumped or sky dived. I have snorkled and gone white water rafting. Not too extreme...

1. 95 mph...ended up in a ditch. Not a very happy memory.

2. I've been snorkeling and repelling. When I was repelling, I lost control and free fell for 60 feet until I yanked the rope from behind me. That was NO fun!

3. Me and my friends orchestrated the biggest TP mission ever. (TP : Toilet Papering) We spent over a hundred dollars on TP and tore some houses up. Of course we haven't gotten caught....yet

i haven't done the whole driving my car fast but i did drag-race a guy friend of mine. . .he has 2 mustangs and he wanted to see which one went faster. . .so we went down a dirt road. . .i looked at the speedometer once when it was at 92 MPH. . .and i was like, 'that's friggin awesome!'

snowboarding. . .man, i learned on man-made snow. and a couple of weeks ago, i went to michigan where they had real snow. i've never gone so fast in my life. my heart was pounding, my eyes were watering, and i thought i was going to crash into a tree at any minute.

I got up to 122 mph.....My friend from high school and his dad had two GTO's ( Muscle cars).......One night we took them out and had a race after graduation. The tires were shot once we finished....his dad was so pissed. We named the cars the twin bitches after that.

His dad had a lot of work done to the cars to make them extremely fast. I don't think you can buy those cars anymore.....and if you can find them in ok condition...they'll cost you a nice amount of money.

On a side note......I think I might go sky diving here in the next week or so. There's a place out by Tallahasse where you can pay 175$ to go. Of course you have a guide with you who jumps attached to you.....if you want it video taped...it's an extra 75$.

However, thats a long drive up to tally.

Well, it was a long time ago...

1. Driving on I-10, from California to Arizona, I took my Mitsubishi Mirage to 110mph. I didn't maintain that speed. I just wanted to see what it was like, but only for a brief moment.

2. During high school, in Yuma, Arizona, I would go with friends to jump cliffs. We jumped into the Colorado River. It took me awhile to do it, but I did it and it was a lot of fun. It's one of the things to do when you live in Yuma, Arizona...since there is not much else to do and it gets very hot.

I want to learn to Scuba Dive, swim with dolphins and sting rays, and there is a part of me that would like to sky dive.

Was in a car my friend was driving - got it up to about 125mph (93 Toyota Supra Twin-Turbo). Many many mods on that car and it was one hell of a ride.

Had a motorcycle up to about 140....never again.

I've gone bungee jumping twice and I've been sky diving a few times as well......

Sky diving is one of the greatest things anyone can do, I suggest if you get the chance to do it, do it!

I had a car named Tank which was a 1986 Chevy Capris when I was in high school (mid 1990's). My favorite road to drive on was this old back road that's completely straight but has tons of big hills. One late nite I buried the needle - so somewhere upwards of 120mph. It was fun, but only did it once ... I know too many people who've been killed in car crashes.

As for other stuff, I've been repelling (on the side of a busy highway.. WTF?). That was fun, too.

100+ between OKC and Tulsa... was taking my girlfriend to the opera there as a Christmas Present.. Was running late. We walked in as they were singing the national anthem (after that they shut the doors and won't open them PERIOD).

Skiing is about as "extreme sport" as I've been. Moguls, down steep hills.. the usual.

We "flew" my friend's '78 Lincoln Continental by ramping off some steep railroad tracks. Probably caught a good 2 seconds of air. Car survived but was permenantly damaged as we put a hole in the oil pan.

I got a ticket for going 106 across Alligator Alley coming back from SB last year. I was actually doing 115, with four people and all their luggage. When I first got my car, I was doing 125 one night without even realizing it (straight road, late at night) cause it was so much lighter then my first car, i thought I was only doing like 80-90. OOOOps
BTW, i have a civic, stock.

You have a STOCK civic and you were able to go 125 mph? Stock in the sense that you don't even have a mod chip? I didn't know that a stock civic was capable of reaching such speeds......

stock,as in the only thing I have ever done to my car is change the color of the lightbulb in the dome light. I do have an EX VTEC standard engine, if that makes a difference.

I didn't start off going those speeds, I didn't reach them in 2 seconds, but definitly if you have a long enough road, you can get up to those speeds in a civic.

I didn't know that. I figured that the stock chip would top off at a certain speed which I had no idea was set over 125.....
