does Halloween nite last for a week after the real Halloween.

do children grow up 18 years in 5 real years.

Only on daytime...

can it be the same "day" for weeks, and then when a holiday that would be in fact weeks or months later is celebrated the next day.

can you miss a month and somehow not be lost, but miss only a few days and be totally confused

do people never seem to work or go to school (but wait, a lot of primetime sitcoms are like this too)

are newborn babies the size of 1-year-olds

can people "die" and mysteriously come back to life

can someone totally hate someone and then suddenly be madly in love with that same person

...can people turn green and be posed by Satan (aka Marlena on Days)

...are there no abortions, just timely "accidents" and miscarriages

...can everyone have permanent cell phone signals no matter where they are

...can people age to the point where they are older than other characters who were "born" before them (aka Billy, Colleen, Lily vs. Nate on Y&R)

...can people come back as a different character

...can people magically have a twin we've never heard about

I'm loving this

-- can you a child once or twice in a month

-- can a character disappear and turn up on the following soap

-- can people switch records, children, and DNA and never get found out

-- can people whom we watched die just show up claiming they had amnesia

-- can three different shows have the same exact storyline

-- can teen pregnancy and teen weddings be OK (amc)

-- can a woman be carrying her mother's baby and the father is her fiance... I MEAN WHAT THE HELL???

-- can people know these crazy, bad things but still not tell the person who's being deceived

...can you ALWAYS "just miss" seeing someone for like a year

...can you trade off partners without any grieving time, and EVERY one is the love of your life, you've NEVER loved like this before.

...can EVERYBODY be related by either blood or marriage (OLTL is the best example, I can break it DOWN if you want LOL)

...does the entire world revolve around a hospital (PC, AMC, OLTL, GH)

...can people commit crimes without going to jail.

...can you NOT get caught in a lie until the LAST possible minute.

...can you be switched as a baby, then find out as an adult, then the girl you were switched with end up being your unknown twin sister (Anybody watching this mess on OLTL? That is just crazy if you ask me. I think Jessica is one of the few people to have actually aged on schedule, its been that same girl forever)

Yes, ABC soaps have brought back one too many people from the dead this year and last.

Maria (AMC)-amnesia
Anna Devaine (originally GH, came back to life on AMC)-amnesia
Brenda (GH)-no amnesia
Kevin (PC)-no amnesia
Laura (GH, several times)-no amnesia, done on purpose
Stavros (GH, he was frozen all this time WTF??)

That's just too many. LOL

Only on Daytime can a character not be mentioned for years until about two weeks before they magically reappear in town when everyone is suddenly "reminiscing"
