New Ideas! :)
Hey Sisters! I need some new and original fundraising ideas for my chapter! If your chapter has done any that were pretty successful or a lot of fun please let me know! Thanks a lot!

we have a "king and queen of the MUB (music building)" penny voting contest right before homecoming, with the winner announced during homecoming week.
we also have a sister auction in the spring.
They are both really popular.
Hope this helps,
Alison

my member in training class just finished doing tuck ins. people could sign them selves or other people up and then the three of us in my class would deliver cookies and milk to the people and read them a bed time poem (no we really didn't tuck people into thier beds) it went pretty well, considering we had some problems. but in two days and after buying the stuff for cookies and milk we made a little over 20 dollars.

I can't believe I forgot to post this! We are also having a t-shirt sale right now. Basically our building is a very oddly designed building (a huge "contemporary" monstrosity). So this semester we are making UF School of Music "how come?" t-shirts. They say things like "how come the carrillion always rings right in the middle of an ear training exam," and "why do you have to carry a water bottle to be really accepted in the voice studios?" Just little quirks about or days here in the music school. We did pre-orders this week at $15 a piece, and we ordered our first 50 shirts today. Our cost I think is like $5 a piece, and then we are charging $20 for post orders. So far in the past couple of days we have made almost $400. It's so awesome! Plus it's nice to get a good relationship with a t-shirt company, as we are having t-shirts for 4 of our events this year (socials, formal, etc.)

We had a pretty successful car wash . . .hmm, not really weather-appropriate, though . . . We had a candle sale! We had little examples and people ordered Gel-candles, then we made them. We also sale carnations for Valentines Day in the music building (carnations instead of roses b/c they're cheaper!). We've also sold breakfast in the music building!

We do a St. Patrick's Day Gram. We make little paper shamrocks, tape York Peppermint Patties to them, then deliver them on St. Pat's day. We sing this little ditty my Big's pledge class made up, and present the Gram if the recipent is around. It's a huge amount of fun, and we usually do make a few bucks off of it. We do a lot of 'grams throughout the year--turkey grams, pumpkin grams, etc... But the St. Pat's one sticks out because of the song.
