I know for my chapter too, we had parents help make our letters. They really arent hard to make out of wood.

If you can't find someone to make one I'd assume you could contact one of those "handy man" types in the phone book.. Or possibly a carpenter.

Heck, why not ask some Fraterity guys to assist you!
You buy the material, and they do the work!?
Then fix a gourmet lunch of sub sandwiches and drinks!
After all you are helpless women and guys like to do things for helpless women!
Just ask and I am sure they will be beating down your door to help!

Congrats on the new house!
You should be able to contract a carpenter or woodworker to make the letters for you. Just go through the yellow pages and make a few phone calls to get some quotes. Be sure to tell them how large you want the letters, etc.
You might want to contact other DST chapters with houses and ask them how they got their house letters, too.
My fraternity's pretty easy since our 'Greek' letters are also pretty basic 'English' ones, too.

Does your college have a woodshop/wood-working class? I'm sure one of the guys in that class would be happy to make you some letters for your house!
My boyfriend took woodshop in highschool and evidently, it's really easy to make large letters with a scroll saw.
Good luck!
XOXO,
Annie.

You could also call a sign company.
