new glos

This question is to all. How do already established historically black fraternities feel about new black fraternities. I am a member of Beta Phi Alpha INC. This is a predominantly black fraternity founded in 1994. I just wanna know if yall would give us respect like yall give yall NPHC fam .

Hi I am always interested in learning more about other BGLOs. I've learned there are more than the D9. Does your org. have a website? Personally I give love and support to anyone whose main purpose is making a positive difference in your community. You shouldn't worry whether NPHC orgs recognize you or not. Promoting your values helps your light shine to those in your community, churches, schools, etc. who need your support.

thanks

Yo, in all honesty I have to admit, you (sprinklemeluv) have been the most decent reply. And I have to thank you for that. Most frats and sorors in the divine nine show a lot of hostility. Somebody said it best, when they said frats these days are like instant mashed potato. But just as well as most of you I pledged an already established glo.

We are an incorperated organization and we do have a website under construction I'll post it when its done. But one of our chapters has a website and that is www.betaphialpha.com (dont sco on it, it aint the best) but Im proud their doing their thing na mean. Thanks Again

Much respect, mi gone from eer.

HI!

If your founder's didn't worry about having the respect of the D9, when they decided to be innovative and form a new GLO, why should you? For me, respect is earned, not given, regardless of who your are.

So keep being a positive force within your community and on your campus.

GOD Bless!

Personally, I don't have an issue with any new org. As of late, I have been made aware of orgs for gays and the like. I say more power to you and your org!

Question - because this is a social organization and the D9 is not are you trying to compare. If so, then there are major differences. Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. has long moved from being a social organization.
