 | OMG Soror last night I was plagued with insomnia -- Them dang bruhs. I started to watch it but then I just decided I would rather stare at my ceiling instead.

This movie along with HavPlenty, Master P's I'm Bout it and Leprachaun in the Hood has the worst acting I have ever seen in my twenty years of living.

I saw this movie too a couple years ago and the acting was really bad. I only watched in because Gary Duordan was in it and I absolutely LOVE him. I think he is so handsome. He made the movie great to me (but I'm clearly biased!) |

I saw it too a couple of years back. I think the only reason I did was because something about the directors being from FAMU.
Bad isn't even the word to describe the acting. The woman..I forget her name...wasn't she like a beauty queen or something....well she was the WORST actress. Ugh! But yall do have a point...it's right up there with being just as bad as HavPlenty!

			mkay...
shazaa did a pretty good acting job...given the script

kenya moore used this movie as the opportunity to show her boobies all over my television screen and for that, i'm pissed. i know the title of the movie will suggest some raunchiness, but suprisingly, the sex scenes were somewhat tasteful. but her pushed-up breast all over and throughout the movie really agitated me

the chick who joined them...HO-REE-BULL!!! i don't think she could act her way out of a wet paper sack!!! she couldn't even cry convincingly when they took her son. and can we say "un-cute?!!!"

the homeboy who hooked the trois up...he was a pretty good actor until the end when the script took a turn for hell!! why in the world did that fool come back as her ex-boyfriend?? pure dumb-ness.

the writers of this script...WTFIWWY!!!!!!! that movie dealt with everything and too much. if you haven't seen it, i'm about to ruin it for you. this movie was about, of course a trois, long-distance relationships, single motherhood, domestic violence, stalking, murder, the court system, blackmail, and nightmares with some interracial dating, bisexuality, and tacky clothing sprinkled in.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE IDIOTS WHO GAVE THE GREEN LIGHT ON THIS ONE... i want the minutes i wasted on watching this movie back!! if i ever catch you by yourself...

Who told Kenya Moore she could act?!?!?!

			A FLAMIN' HOT MESS!
The movie was absolutely uncalled for.

The lady that "joined" them is Gretchen Palmer. She is definately known for being raunchy in films. She can currently be seen on "The Young and the Restless."

 | Yeah Kenya Moore...Miss USA. I wasn't really feeling her in anything she's acted in.
I'm not sure about her being a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha though. If so, someone feel free to correct me. |

Clawd I just went to her website, http://www.kenyamoore.com She will be in a movie with LL and Gabrielle Union this year or so.

I am still checking on AKA status but I remember reading somewhere that of the 4 Miss USAs who had been Black, 3 were AKAs.

Found what I was looking for, Kenya Moore is not one of the 3 AKAs.

C'mon, now, give the producer and director a little credit

			FOR THE RECORD,
Trois was co-written by Rob Hardy (director) and William Packer (producer). Both are in our age range (28-29 years old) and are Florida A&M graduates. Rob is an Alpha and William is a Que (or vice versa).

I will give them credit for at least trying to break down the door for providing quality Black erotica. I liked the movie, because I felt there was some potential for these brothers. I think the plot needed a little work, but considering these cats were still novices (their prior work was Chocolate City, filmed @ FAMU in '93(?)), they deserve a[nother] chance.

Technically, the movie was rated NC-17, but the deletion of certain aspects of the "trois" scene (which I saw, while it was brief, it had my jaw dropping), downgraded the rating to an R status.

For those of you with DVDs, rent that and turn on the director's commentary. Hardy and Packer gives you the lowdown on the details of filming and why certain scenes were shot in such a way. Personally I loved the commentary, and even laughed along with them when they cracked a joke or said something humorous. I actually want to own this film b/c they made me feel like I was watching it with my closest friends.

ALSO, they will be coming out with a 3rd film either late this year or sometime in 2003 called "Pandora's Box", which features Michael Jai White, Monica Calhoun, and Chrystale Wilson.

Anyhow, give these brothers a chance to show their talent before you start knocking their work.

 Much Luv,

 RM
