Question Co Ed Sleepovers

I just finished watching a rerun of Diff'rent Strokes and this was an episode where SAM, had a co ed sleepover with his best friend Terry played by the future Punky Brewster. During the episode both Mr. Drummond and Terry's dad struggled with the issue of their children sleeping over together.

Would you ever allow your son/daughter to have his/her best friend who is of the OPPOSITE SEX sleep over? Why/why not? At what age would those sleep overs conclude?

I did not have my first coed one til my junior year in high school and I was a GUEST and it just so happened that my friend's cousins and his friends did not have a ride back home. Nothing MUCH happened. I went home to mama pure as the driven snow.
