NCAA Tournament
Who's teams made it to the tournament and who are you cheering for?
Murray State University is going to have their share of fun with Georgia. In case you all don't know, I attend Murray State. Go Racers.

UofA Wildcats won the pac 10 chapionship and are number #3 in the west, which most people are calling the most competitive division in the playoffs. I hope they go all the way again this year maybe they can even win it all, GO CATS!!!

UH literally killed host Tulsa yesterday in the WAC Championship 73-59. They play Xavier in the first round. The winner of that game plays the winner of the Oklahoma/Illinois-Chicago game.
This year's team has been regarded as our best ever, so it's exciting to see them get this far. Best of luck to our Warrior men!
GO 'BOWS!

BU toughed its way into the tourney . . . and drew a 16-seed, playing Cincy in the first round - although hopefully they can wreck up the Bearcats and be the first 16-seed to win, b/c Huggins's post-season record sucks . . . most likely a suicide draw though.
My hawks sucked, and got reamed by OSU today too. Great day for my b-ball. . .

Well, my boys from UConn drew a 2 seed - a few weeks ago, no one would have expected that to happen, not with having lost to Rutgers. They're streaky though - hopefully this is a prolonged good streak they're on. They played a hell of a game against a very good Pitt team. A UConn-Maryland rematch would be awesome - hopefully Caron Butler sticks around past this year to give it another go around next year.
I was pumped to see Central Connecticut make it - they're from the town next to mine, and their coach lived in my town for a while.
Also, as Rob said, BU made it - hopefully it won't be a slaughter against Cincinnati.

Once again, the fine athletes of Syracuse have shown their athletic ability and complete lack of heart when it comes to winning when they should. 16-2 start? Ya..good.
Have to say, Arizona is playing hot when they should, but somehow, I have a feeling Duke is going far again. I hope Gonzaga wins on principle alone, no way the 6th ranked team in the polls should be a 6 seed. I'm also waiting for Florida to play like they should be. Anyways, I'll take Duke for the two peat, cause Maryland isn't going that far, just a hunch.
Oh well, there's always lacrosse.

The LA Tech-Hawaii game for the WAC championship was a really close one, and I was really sad to see my girls lose by only 3. Once again the girls were snubbed by the selection committee and LA Tech's the only representative from the WAC. Go LA Tech!

I was really surprised at how well La Tech adjusted to the WAC conference. You know that this is their first season in the conference. And for them to win the conference right off the bat shows how awesome they are. I would have thought Hawaii would have gotten an AT-Large bid at least. They were conference tourney runner-ups. That should count for something.
