Future Delta
I am currently a student at a college in Tennessee, I am very interested in the Delta Sigma Theta Inc. I have let it be known with many of the Deltas at my school, I know I have a 100% chance of getting in because I am very poplar on campus. I have done a pageant on campus and I am involved, I'm even the director of one of my organizations. My GPA is fair, it is 3.34 now. The deltas are interested in me, they have even asked and allowed me to sing at one of their events during their delta week, and during another delta event I was picked as a captain for one of the themes they had of their week. I just wanted to know exactly hoe much money I will need, and does anyone know anything about the pledging process in Tennessee, and is their hazing? also after hazing will I have to have involvement with my pledge masters, because if there is hazing of any sort I will not want to have any contact with them after the process, because I know I will not be able to forgive nor forget things I am put through If given the opportunity.

The sorority chapter at your school will have information on dues and its pledging process. You need to ask them these questions. Additionally, hazing is illegal in Tennessee, and it is against the policies of every national sorority. If you find yourself engaged in a situation where there is hazing, leave and report it to the appropriate authorities.
It sounds like you had a very good chance at pledging DST until you claimed on the internet that you have a 100% chance of getting in. No sorority likes this type of attitude in nonmembers and you may have just cost yourself your chance by your lack of discretion.

This is so ridiculous that I would bet it's someone trying to make her look like an idiot and sink her chances.

No, I think people really are this ignorant. This is a generation that has grown up with social media and posts every random thought that flows their minds in real-time.

But doesn't remember that all of those random thoughts are out there forever...

Co-sign.
If that's the case...the person that is perping another person just to sink that chances is uncool.

Okay, I do not know whether this is a legitimate post or just a joke but either way, here goes:
My response if the OP is being for real: First of all, calling yourself a future Delta in your username is bad form. You do not ultimately know if you are going to be asked to join. If you are acting as arrogant in real life as you are in your post, I'd say no, you will probably not be asked to join. Also, you have made yourself very identifiable aka interested in Delta Sigma Theta at a Tennessee school where you are currently pursuing membership, your involvement and the fact that you have participated in some of their events.
My response if the OP is joking: Stop wasting our time.

The first bolded point is terrible. It shouldn't be about popularity, rather personality, and this statement doesn't shed the best light on your personality. But I don't know you so you could be really sweet and this statement be a lapse in judgment on your part. Unfortunately, this post could have eliminated your chances for a bid. The Greek community is so connected that everyone knows someone, and there is a strong possibility that someone saw this post.
Also, like the poster above said, hazing is illegal in Tennessee. You would be bound to report it. I know on bid day at my school we signed contracts stating that we would report any hazing done to us by older members or members of our new member class, and that we would not haze in the future. You would be bound by that contract then. Not sure how it works down south though.

FYI...the OP is referring to NPHC membership intake -- a process very different than NPC recruitment.

So there's some sort of mandatory reporter law in Tennessee for hazing? That'd be pretty unusual.

You guys! you don't understand!!! She's POPLAR, she's a TREE. Translation: she's got wood in her cranium, which explains why she came here and posted that idiocy. Anyone got a match?
Seriously - the classy DST ladies are sitting back (or, more likely, out doing good) and not even paying attention to this lame attempt at a train wreck. OP, shoo. Scat. Go on, now, and take your silliness elsewhere. Oh, and for the love of Mike, use a dictionary and don't rely on spell check. Sheesh.
