Quick question...

Ok so, it's the night before rush starts at my school!! We don't actually meet until 4pm tomorrow, and it's just for a couple of hours. I'm wondering...would it be bad to go to a frat party tonight? I do NOT plan on drinking, just stopping by with some friends? My friends really want to go, and I feel like since it's my first week at school I should make an effort to go out, but I don't want any sorority girls to see me and think I'm some type of crazed party animal (which is why if I go, I don't plan on drinking.) Any input would be much appreciated, thanks ladies!!

My advice: if you have to ask for outside opinions, it most likely is a bad idea.

You have half a million other weekends to go out.

I have no idea. I texted one of my friends who is in a sorority at another school, she said some schools don't care, some schools it would look bad. I go to a huge huge school and I don't really think anyone would notice but at the same time I'm super excited about rushing and I don't want to ruin my chances...

I guess you're right. I just didn't want to seem like a party pooper my first weekend at school, but better not to risk it. Thanks ladies!
