Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here for some time now, so I understand that this thread should eventually get moved to "Recruitment Stories." Anyhoozle, in 2.5 weeks (

) I'm going through sorority recruitment at the University of Minnesota, in the lovely Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
First off, the U of M has 10 Panhellenic sororities, many of them single-letter chapters (ooh, history!):
Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Epsilon Phi
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Phi
Delta Gamma
Gamma Phi Beta
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Pi Beta Phi
In a bid to show a bit of Minnesota pride, this recruitment story is dedicated to 10 of the many greats to come out of the Land of the 10,000 Lakes. The names are in no particular order and have nothing to do with the sororities themselves (not that I know anything about them besides the fact AEPhi is historically Jewish, because my aunt was one at Cornell).
Prince
Andrews Sisters
Sinclair Lewis
F. Scott Fitzgerald
Bob Dylan
Judy Garland
Walter Mondale
Hubert H. Humphrey
Coen Brothers
The Replacements
Now up for vote: shall I do a live recruitment thread or a retrospective?
