I have a question (:

I'm rushing in August at a pretty small school with 5 sororities. Rush week is August 11th- 15th, Bid Day being on the 15th. How many cuts will I have to make each night?

Without knowing for sure you might see all five sororities twice, then cut down to 3 then 2 before bid day. That's assuming you have a party every day. You might cut one a day too, your schedule would tell you.

Why not check the greek life page for your university or call the Greek Life advisor? There could be a million combinations!

at a college i know that has 5 sororities recruitment goes like this-

the first two days are the same parties, and the pnm will visit all 5 parties over the two days-either 3 on the first day and 2 on the second or in the reverse. the 3rd day they can attend 3 parties and the 4th day they can attend 2 prefs.

When we had 5 sororities, recruitment was Mon-Thurs with Bid Day on Fri. Our nights went 5-4-3-2. When we added the 6th sorority we voted to make it 6-5-3-2. But depending how many nights of recruitment you have, it could be anything.

The local college has 5 chapters with 4 rounds. All PNMs go to round 1. Chapters can cut after round 1, but PNMs can go to all 5 during round 2. Then it goes to 3 for round 3 and 2 for Pref.
