Omega Psi Phi Expansion in Canada.
Once again, Omega Psi Phi has a growing presence in Canada. Presently, there are three active chapters in Canada: Alpha Deta Xi, the undergraduate chapter at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario; Nu Gamma Gamma, the graduate chapter in Ottawa, which has members in Montreal; and Lambda Mu Mu, the newly-chartered graduate chapter in Toronto.
There are plans to establish an undergraduate chapter each in Toronto and Montreal. Omega first came to Canada in the 1920s with the chartering of Sigma Chapter at McGill University in Montreal. The late Dr. Charles Drew, who was a student at the McGill Medical College during that time, was instrumental in establishing this chapter. (Sigma Chapter now is the designation of the undergraduate chapter at Michigan State University.)

Good info, Bruh! It's nice to see that we're expanding. Are there any other orgs with chapters in Canada?

^^^ Alpha's original Delta Chapter was at the University of Toronto, but dissolved soon after.
The University of Toronto hosted another chapter in the mid-00s, but it, too, dissolved (after a lot of promising developments).
You guys are going about it the right way (as I see it). There's no point in putting an international collegiate chapter in a location without an international alumni/graduate chapter.
Continued best wishes.

Would just like to say how awesome the Carleton chapter is!
I'm fairly good friends with a member in Alpha Delta Xi, and we're very much looking forward to doing joint events with them this coming year! They've done a lot already in just the short time they've been around for and from the ones I've met are great guys.

Nu Gamma Gamma Chapter grows.
Nu Gamma Gamma Graduate Chapter of Ottawa, Ontario initiated a group of men into Omega Psi Phi Saturday, 11 December 2010. These were all graduate candidates who reside in Montreal, Quebec. Kudos to the men of Omega in Canada who are reestablishing Omega Dear as a viable force.

More expansion in Canada.
On 2 October 2014, Omega Psi Phi held its first New Member Presentation on the campus of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Since 2007, Omega Psi Phi has established a presence in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and now the beginnings of the second undergraduate chapter at McMaster University.

First Omega jurist appointed in Canada.
Bro. Phillip Sutherland, a member of Lambda Mu Mu Graduate Chapter (Toronto, Ont, Canada), was recently appointed a judge of the Superior Court of Justice in Canada.
