We're definitely in the minority but I agree with you. I always thought Sammy Hagar was the better lead singer.

Van Halen sells more records with Sammy Hager and made the group more stronger in terms of songwriting.

David Lee Roth. I prefer Sammy as a singer actually and love his solo work but when you're talking VH it's the DLR era.
