Sammy Hagar interview
On a totally un-Alpha Phi-related note: I finally interviewed Sammy Hagar. It took place last Friday. He's just the nicest, most down to earth guy.
I'll post the link to my article once it's complete.
He's got a great new album out right now--everyone should check out the song, "Halfway to Memphis." Tres bien!
aoe,
Geneen

I definitely look forward to reading your article. I've never heard of this fella, but I visited his web site and he seems to be an interesting character. He does seem to be very down to earth, as you mentioned.
Oh, and btw, thanks for bringing our forum back to life.

I too look forward to reading your article.I have been a Sammy and a Van Halen fan for many years. I did however prefer David Lee Roth back in the day.

No, no, Geneen. You are not old at all. I didn't know who he was because I am more of a country kind of gal. Cory Morrow is more my style.

Woa!!!
Gee, you are all so terribly young!!!!!!! I remember Sammy as a soloist AND as a member of the rock group Montrose in the late 70's and early 80's....There needs to be some catching up on rock and roll history!!!!! He did do great things for VH - stretched their way of making musci and lyric writing...But I saw him with Montrose and as a soloist!!!! Long before VH...Now who's showing their age!!! LOL Talented and versatile performer.
OOPS! Forgot to congratulate you on your interview! Way to go!

I am forever a Eagles,Foreigner and Journey fan thru and thru! Let us know when and where we can find the article because i love to read it!
Is Sammy solo these days now that he isn't with Van Halen or is he with another group?
