To Keep Forever Sacred The Memory of Those We Have Loved and Lost

Please keep the family, friends and sisters of Canda in your thoughts and prayers. Canda was a senior member of Lambda Eta, she was one of my phi babies when she was a freshman. She was a wonderful person and sister and will be greatly missed by many.

No one ever wants to hear of anyone dying except from old age warm in their beds. I'm sooooo sorry to hear about the death of an amazing sister & friend. My thoughts are with her chapter & family.

That's horrible. I will say a prayer for her family tonight. The chapter should just designate a day for everyone to wear their badge in honor of this young woman.

In more sad news, a Beta Mu (Penn State) sister passed away earlier this semester. Her name was Laura Armann. She was my pledge sister and she must have had a heart condition. She passed away in her sleep. I am returning to Happy Valley (Penn State) to take part in a memorial for her during the Halloween weekend. Laura had just turned 24 years old.

It is a sad year for some of these Phi Mu sisters.

Let us all keep their memory sacred.

I would hope that nationals would send out information to all chapters about any active or recently active sisters that have passed so that each respective chapter may send their condolences to the woman's initiated chapter.

Alpha Nu's prayers are with you all as you grieve for such vibrant women.

Love in Our Bond,
Miriam
