Clemson rush
I'm going to be going to Clemson next year, and am still on the fence of whether to try and join a fraternity. I don't know a single soul within a thousand miles of the school, and the fact that I wasn't in a fraternity at my old school and found it hard to make non-greek friends because there was barely any, makes me want to rush.
However, as ridiculous as it does sound, the idea of pledging does scare me a little bit. I'm not much of a drinker, and rumors of what hazing is like at southern schools makes me timid about going through with pledging.
If the situation was right, where I could fit in really well with the guys in the fraternity, and be able to contribute to the university, then I'd be all for it. But because I don't know anyone there I can't really get a sense of what the fraternities are like there.
So if anyone has any insight on greek life at clemson, or reputations of the houses I'd really appreciate it.
