Rush at Clemson
Hey Guys! I will be attending Clemson in the fall and CAN NOT wait to go through rush! I know that there are 9 sororities rushing on campus this year, and I was wondering if someone could please tell me a little more about each one...like who are the sporty ones, preppy ones, ect. I would just like to know a little more info before I go through...and I'm so excited!

I believe there is a slide show on the clemson greek webpage. Its very well put together. That should give you some more information about their symbols, colors, and I believe it has quotes from sisters  You'll love Clemson! All of the football games are so much fun! I went to Furman just down the road.

thanks so much for the info! what a help...I did see the panhellenic page and the slide shows...they just get me sooo excited! I was actually looking for more of a student's perspective beccause the slide shows can only tell you so much! I am going to give all sororities a 100% fair chance each, but I was just looking for a little heads up on what each one was like.  I hope I have as much fun there as you did!

No my dear Lil' Hannah Epsilon Kappa is still at Clemson and no campus could ask for a better group of women! I wish them the best of luck this year! Go get'em Tigers!

I just happened to see this thread and as a Pi Chi for fall rush at Clemson I couldn't help but just drop a line to the conversation. Thanks so much girls for being "Panhellenic." I know it can be difficult wanting to chat up your own chapter and I think it's awesome you girls can speak so highly of all the chapters on campus. It makes me so proud to be part of Greek Life at Clemson with such wonderful girls!
southerngirly -- Clemson's Greek system is very unique in that there is no chapter that is just athletes or full of Vanderbilt relatives, etc. Each chapter boasts their own diverese sense of sisterhood and the girls really pride themselves on that idea. You will probably hear "tent talk" on campus and before school and I can not stress how important it is to disregard this information. Everyones impression of a chapter is different and not always accurate so it's best just to wait and see how you feel about each sorority yourself. If you have any questions or anything at all that I can help you with in the recruitment process please let me know. I know you'll have an amazing time during the recruitment process meeting the Greek women here at Clemson.

I have two friends that are Tri Delts at Clemson and they are teh coolest girls I have ever met. I visited them and stayed on the tri delt floor and the sisters were super sweet and down to earth.
Also, Sigma Nu at Clemson has a freaking house on the lake. How cool is that.

Yeah we took a shuttle that night. We don't have anything like that in NC. All the frats rent out vans for the evening to shuttle people to and from campus for their parties.
