Specialty license plates in Florida: NPHC orgs
This is a really cool opportunity!
https://www.flhsmv.gov/2022/06/02/fl...icense-plates/
Do any other states offer something similar? I know Florida is notorious for having a ton of specialty plates.

Illinois has offered them for some time. Very distinctive designs, and fun to see.

In Alabama an initial order for a specialty plate is 200. So to get one in the pipeline, you have to get 200 people to pay $50 up front and the design will be on the list. ( my non profit just went thru this process) Currently, I see AKA and DST on the list. No other GLOs.

Virginia does, I know I've seen Delta Sigma Theta Inc, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. plates I think there are other NPHC plates too. Those just happen to be the ones I see more frequently.

It took us about 2 years to get there also....even though we included our vehicles in that AND paid the $50 for all 200 tags! It is harder than you think.

At only 200 here and with over 60 employees, hundreds of participant families, us paying the first year $50 fee, it took us 2 years to get it subscribed.`

Currently the only GLO plate available in NJ is for Alpha Kappa Alpha - but I honestly didn't know this was a thing orgs could get! https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/vehicles/alumni.htm
