Probably old news, but I just discovered Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers in Champagne. It kinda tingles when I put it on. Mmmmm.

How did I miss this thread??
I'm a lipgloss-and-go girl. Heaven knows my commuter-rail trip is long enough to put on a full face of makeup, but 99% of the time I just shove a lipgloss in my pocket and book it for the train. Eyeshadow lurks in my work bag in case I decide to go out after work.
I got a sampler of 5 MAC lipglass shades a few months ago, in various shades of pink, and I usually carry one of those. When I wear red, I use a Prescriptives lip gloss, which I call "lip-repellent" - I have to reapply it so often that it's seriously annoying. I won't be buying Prescriptives again. The MAC stays on, though I usually have to reapply after lunch, but that's better than reapplying every five minutes.

Estee Lauder recently came out with a brand of lip gloss called DoubleWear Lip Stains. They "claim" that they are long wearing (I guess as much as a lip gloss could be) so I bought one a few weeks ago. I really like it and it actually does last a while too.
My other recent purchase was Tootsie Roll lip gloss.

I just got one of the Lorac Mocktails glosses as a free gift with a Sephora purchase. They sent me "Sex on the Beach" which is a sheer pink gloss. I have to say, it does smell suspiciously like a tropical drink and is pretty on. It doesn't last very long, but what gloss does?

I'm not an addict but I like the Shinylicious lipgloss in 'pink sorbet' by Mayebelline.

You too? My mom has an oooooooold Fashion Fair blush compact in the most unnatural shade of red for someone of a medium caramel color. I finally made her throw it out.
As far as lips go, I use Rosebud Salve as my general chap defense (it's so good, and it works wonders on any little dry spots, and breakouts, too). When I'm going out, my favorite gloss is Stila Lip Glaze in Brown Sugar (it has just a little touch of shimmer, and lots of shine).

I'm addicted to MAC lipglass (or any variation thereof -- Plushglass, Chromeglass, Lustreglass, Lip Gelee...)... Prrr, Florabundance, C-Thru, and Oh Baby are my standbys.
They're expensive, but last forever. So worth the $14.

i don't know if they still make it, but coco mademoiselle lipgloss was a stunning orange/pink/gold gloss that i wore to my prom freshman and sophomore year. i'm in love with my lipgloss from bath and body works - it looks a deep red in the tube but it comes out the most gorgeous sheer shade of red, not too dark or too light (goldie in leslie) juicy tubes are nice but too sticky - my hair winds up plastered to my lips. in the last few days i have also found the maybelline lipgloss - strawberry tart is a really nice, very lightly tinted shade.
i'm also obssessed with flavored chapstick/lip balm...

also, a GREAT chapstick, like instant moisture, is Alba Botanicals - i have one in pineapple and one in passionfruit. they're organic and so so good (taste and effect). nothing leaves my lips smoother, and they're not greasy/waxy
i'm not obsessed...
