She had both. From what I could see (on the news) it looked like 6 motorcycled cops in front and 6 behind the ambulance.

I tell myself to log into TMZ.com only once a day now because I'm so sick of the Britney coverage.

Lots of legal stuff happened today -- Brit's manager was issued a restraining order by a judge to stay away from Brit and now her dad's acting as conservator of her estate. Apparently Britney went apeshit when she found out that her parents now have control over not only her finances...but her as well.

FINALLY!

It's about time her parents took control. Geez Louise, how much more could happen to the "child".

Yes, I know she brought a lot on herself but goodness gracious media jerks, go take a nap and come back in 2 months!

On a different yet related note, there was an interesting commentary in the paper the other day about the hypocrisy of slamming Jamie Lynn for her pregnancy but loving the Juno movie..

I hope they opt to go for the 14-day hold; 72 hours will not do it for her at this point.

Wait, when did her parents get control over her? That's very unusual and I'd think unlikely.

Her father has temporary control over her personal affairs, her psychiatrist has control over her medical treatment (and hopefully will keep her hospitalized longer). http://www.people.com/people/article...175797,00.html

Thanks I was just confused as it made it seem like her father/parents had actual control over HER and not just her estate, etc.

I hope and pray that this young lady gets help and get better. Britney needs to take time to get better. It won't be quick, but she need time to get better. She needs to stay in long term treatment, not in and out. She needs to stay away from the stage. I applaud that the father has stepped in to help Britney.

When I read it, it reminded me of the whole Anna Nicole situation and how Howard Stern allegely (sp) kept her drugged up (especially between the time of Daniel's death and her death--can't believe it's been a year already). I honesty believe that Britney needs to get away from all of them.

*Slight hijack*
Read Blonde Ambition by Rita Cosby. Good book on the Anna Nicole case.
*end hijack*

Oh, see, this isn't good news, she was released early again.

Is it too late to get in that pool you were starting, Daemon?

No sooner than she is out but she is already back to her old tricks...Daemon, can I get in on this pool also? It won't be long before she follows Anna Nicole Smith...

I saw on Showbiz Tonight the allegations that Lynne made about Britney's manager, Sam Lufti. She said that Sam had called Britney a whore and and an unfit mother. Also, Sam had crushed pills and put them in Britney's foods and drinks. He even had hid her dog and stated to Lynne that when Britney dies, he will relieve himself on her grave.

Guys, this is sad. I'm glad that there is a restraining order against Sam. Because God knows what would have happened to Britney if she would be with Sam for one more minute.

As far as being released early, I don't agree with that decision.

Somehow, I have to think that if Britney wants to talk to Sam, she is going to talk to him. It wasn't even a few hours before she was back with Adnan. I am not sure who to trust in this situation. It seems like her parents are genuinely concerned about her well-being and want her to get the help she seems to desperately need.
