There was an article on NBC this past Saturday saying how retro gaming is coming back in style....funny to hear a 10 year old kid now saying how he 'beat Ms. Pacman' or how they lasted 2hrs on DOnkey Kong....


Aaaahhhh...the good old days when your gamin prowess was measured by your 3 initials on that machine....

I was just telling my g/f over the weekend how back in the day gaming machines were meant to emulate the arcade but...once the PS1 kicked in (those who really know thier arcade history know what I mean) that's when you began to get games that truly mimiced their arcade counterparts (Tekken 1 and Ridge Racer anyone?) and really started bringing the true arcade experience home.

I just received Super Paper Mario in the mail. I love the 2-D/3-D effects. I also bought a PS3 with Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Spider-Man 3. However, I haven't even played it yet.

I'm trying to finish this season in NASCAR 07 because NASCAR 08 will be out in a few days. Almost done.

Like many others have said.. I'm totally addicted to Guitar Hero 1 & 2. I'm lookin forward to the release of the 80's version today. Guitar Hero 3 is shaping up to be supremely awesome. Some of the tracks have been released already and are up on wikipedia.

I also loovvee playing X-Men: The Apocolypse and Destroy All Humans. X-Men is pretty hard and its just so awesome using all of those powers. Jean Grey is seriously a bad mamma jamma. Destroy All Humans is great too.. because it's just plain hilarious.

Okay, this is sad. My 17 year old daughter got Guitar Hero II - and what I do to Surrender should be illegal.
But it is lots of fun.

help....... I got World of Warcrack on Thursday...I am having fun....I have been up til at least 1am over the past few days...stayed up till 3am Saturday morning trying to kill some Harvest Golems...I have a level 11 Paladin ...help....me....please
