Maroon & lavendar??? What on earth were the founders of Sigma Kappa thinking?

I personally love my colors & am proud to wear them & display them when and where I can. Unfortunately, lavendar isn't that big right now so finding it can be a problem.

I would like to take the opportunity to rag on my high school history teacher who was so dang proud of our school that every Friday, he would wear a maroon shirt & gold shorts along with yellow socks & maroon shoes to school. My jaw hit the floor the first time I saw him wearing this outfit. I later learned it had been his ritual to support the athletic teams every Friday so he would wear his ridiculous "lucky" outfit. Our teams sucked so it apparently wasn't working.

My high school's colors are the same as my honor frat's colors - purple and gold. Maybe the long conditioning in seeing those two colors together did something to me. Some people don't like the colors, and all the guys hate purple, but I don't think they look that bad.
